Compassionate therapeutic care assistant

Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate support, encouragement and motivation to patients throughout their therapeutic journey. Assist nursing staff in delivering high-quality, person-centred patient care. Support patients with their daily care, comfort and wellbeing. Perform non-professional care activities under the guidance of qualified nursing staff. Observe patient behaviour and accurately document clinical notes. Maintain a safe, caring and therapeutic environment for patients. Uphold the principles of the Patient Rights Charter at all times. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists and social workers. Assist with patient supervision and therapeutic activities where required. Follow all healthcare policies, procedures and infection control protocols. #J-18808-Ljbffr
