Community Wellness Worker – Full‑time. The Tree of Peace Friendship Centre seeks a dedicated professional to support community wellness initiatives in a First Nations context.

Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of addictions and substance use disorders.
  • Excellent administration and organizational skills.
  • Awareness and understanding of the historical context of alcohol & drug abuse prevention and treatment in a First Nations community.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Live a healthy lifestyle and be alcohol and drug free for a minimum of two years.
  • Certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counsellor is an asset.
  • Criminal Record Check required.

Compensation

Salary: $64,593.50 per year. Housing allowance: $5,400.00.
