Support victims of violence with SCO as a Restorative Healing Advocate. This position prioritizes a victim-centered approach and requires substantial community engagement across southern Manitoba.
Reporting directly to the Community Justice Manager, the Restorative Healing Advocate will play a key role in assisting victims impacted by family and intimate partner violence. Your experience in case management and comprehensive understanding of the justice system will guide your advocacy efforts. This role involves delivering culturally holistic healing plans and facilitating victim-centered workshops, ensuring a collaborative approach with community justice stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage cases and maintain client relationships
• Establish supportive healing plans for individual needs
• Conduct workshops tailored to victims’ experiences
• Work in conjunction with justice teams to ensure accountability
• Engage in community outreach across First Nations
