Community First Aider (Preston)

Overview

St John Ambulance is expanding its volunteering program, focusing on community first aid and education. We seek dedicated volunteers passionate about helping others and building safer, more resilient communities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first aid to those in need at local events.
• Provide first aid education to the public, contributing to the ripple effect of First Aid.
• Support community partnerships, helping to grow membership and fundraising.
• Work within a supportive environment.

Qualifications and Commitments

• Commitment to attend training meetings – on average two Thursday‑evening meetings per month.
• Availability to attend induction and role training at scheduled dates.
• Willingness to travel to training locations: Preston, Lancaster, and Kirkham.
• Passion for community service and helping others.
