Job Summary

The Community Engagement Officer is tasked with supporting and executing innovative, inclusive, and effective community engagement activities. This role is crucial in ensuring stakeholders, partners, and residents have meaningful opportunities to participate in consultations and engagement initiatives. The officer must maintain high standards of quality, timeliness, and accessibility, aligning with council objectives.

Key Duties / Accountabilities

  • Organise and support stakeholder and community engagement events, ensuring they are well-planned, inclusive, and delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide advice and support to internal teams on engagement activities and collaborate on engagement plans and projects.
