Commodity Lead

Responsible for new product sourcing and project management of components and sub-assemblies. Requires a blend of technical and business expertise as well as solid interpersonal and negotiation skills to contribute, lead and manage at different levels, both internally and externally. Engage with Business Units, Program Managers, Engineering, and Quality to ensure customer requirements are being met while communicating and driving sourcing strategy that reduces risk, improves cost, shorten lead-time, and improve supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:

Leads new product sourcing activities and interface with Business Units and Suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery, on-cost, and on-quality.

Leads supplier selection and new product costs from development to mass production.Execute sourcing strategies by leveraging the preferred suppliers.Manages the overall product level BOM cost.
