Responsibilities

  • To ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Responsible for the preparation and cooking of food to the restaurant specific standards.
  • Responsible for the completion of the cleaning schedule for the kitchen.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements under the food hygiene.
  • Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines.
  • Ensure food produced to highest standards and within restaurant's specification.
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks arising from operational requirements.
  • Maintain all food preparation and service standards in a hygienic, safe, accident-free environment.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
  • Knowledgeable of different types of cuisine.
