Commercial Mortgage Underwriter (Contract)

What is the opportunity?

This position is responsible for the assessment and underwriting of exiting funded commercial mortgages. The position will prepare commercial mortgage review credit forms applying market information to specific transactions, analyzing and stabilizing property operating statements and analyzing borrower financials. In addition, this position will also have some exposure to new originations.

What will you do?

• Responsible for ongoing monitoring of various sized commercial mortgages in the portfolio, including contact with borrower or intermediary to successfully obtain current information.
• Responsible for increases, assumptions and any other relevant changes to the existing assigned portfolio.
• Analyze third party reports including Environmental Site Assessments, Appraisals and Building Engineering Reports, challenging conclusions where necessary and appropriate.
