Commercial Lines (Property) Coordinator

We currently have an opening for a permanent, full-time Commercial Lines Coordinator (Property) in our Southern Alberta branch. Reporting to the Commercial Lines Manager, this role is based out of our Calgary office. The successful candidate will contribute to the achievement of a profitable and growing portfolio of business and service level objectives by providing underwriting support and assistance to department underwriters. More specifically, the responsibilities would include the following:

What You'll Do

• Distribute mail
• Pull and distribute renewal business and abeyance files
• Process and assemble cancellations, endorsements, renewals and new business
• Answer broker inquiries and requests
• Department related filing
• Obtain background reports
• Conduct basic underwriting on policy changes
• Set up new files
• Various other duties as required
