Davey Tree Expert Co. in Pickering, Ontario is hiring a Utility DZ Driver! Your role combines driving tasks with hands-on arborist assistance in a full-time capacity.
As part of this role, you will drive a commercial truck ensuring safe transportation of your crew and equipment. With a focus on tree care, you'll engage in various tasks from pruning to the operation of tree maintenance equipment. A background in Landscaping or similar fields will support your growth in this position and help you work towards certification as an Arborist.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive to multiple job sites with the crew
• Log daily pre/post trip inspections and upkeep
• Maintain truck’s cleanliness and free of debris
• Assist in all operations of tree pruning/removal
• Properly utilize and maintain all necessary tools
