College Safety and Security Officer

Help keep the Flagler College community safe while building meaningful connections with students, faculty, and staff. This role blends public safety, service, and teamwork in a dynamic campus environment.

College Safety and Security Officers are responsible for general supervision, maintaining safety, providing safety and security services, enforcing College rules and regulations, andprotectinglifeandpropertywithintheFlaglerCollegecommunityandatoff-campus properties owned/leased in whole or in part by the College.

•Interact and communicate with students, faculty, staff, and visitors in a friendly, courteous, professional manner. •Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive patrol of buildings and grounds on foot, in a vehicle or golf cart; open or lock building doors, gates and parking lots as directed or requested; turn lights off as directed; and occasionally staff fixed posts. •Respond to routine calls for service and non-routine, priority or serious incidents in a tim...
