Coil Processor - 2nd Shift

JOB SUMMARY

The Coil Prep Operator role is a heavy assembly position that focuses on the processing and pressing of coil windings, a vital component subprocess in the assembly of our transformers. In this position, operators would train to upend, align/install components, inspect, final size and deliver Medium Power, Large Power, and Extra High Voltage coils. Processing methods include Oil Impregnation through a Vapor Phase process or Kerosene Vapor Phase and process using Iso-Static Press pallets. Operators will learn to operate Dake coil press, align clack row spacer columns, add/remove spacers, prep leads, install end assemblies, oil flow washers, and coil collars. Process will be expected to place coils on pallets using a forklift, load and unload processing chambers, utilize iso-static pressing assemblies by way of air bearing sleigh pallets.
