Coex/Extruder Operator

The Operator is to set up, organize and prepare all aspects of the inline/extrusion process and at times to assist in the direction of helpers/packers. They will operate extruders/baggers efficiently with the highest possible output without sacrificing product quality while keeping scrap or wastage to a minimum. Set up inline/extrusion to comply with the customer’s product specifications whilst ensuring the correct blend of raw materials is being used and maintaining a clean organized work environment to ensure the highest quality product is produced.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up and run all extruders/baggers in your designated department as required:
1. Ensuring the correct heat profile for material, film/bag sizing, equipment tensions, core size, gauge/gram weight, bubble size, trim size, wrinkles, creases, etc.
