Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate articulated vehicles with a (GCM) exceeding 16 tonnes.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Transport goods to designated destinations safely and on schedule.
- Ensure all cargo is securely loaded, transported and delivered in accordance with safety regulations.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and obtain proof of delivery.
- Comply with all road traffic legislation and company safety procedures.
- Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance requirements promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service during collections and deliveries.
- Adhere to company policies regarding vehicle operation, fuel usage and route planning.
- Valid Code EC (Code 14) driver's licence .
