Cobol Developer

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 to support critical business processes.


• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues within mainframe systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an Agile environment to gather requirements, refine user stories, and deliver high-quality software solutions.


• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.


• Optimize and enhance existing applications by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing best-practice coding standards.


• Conduct root cause analysis and provide long-term resolutions for recurring issues.
