Job Purpose

To perform high-quality CO₂ (MIG/MAG) welding on engineering components, structures, and fabricated assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, company standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CO₂ (MIG/MAG) welding on mild steel and other approved materials.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, grinding, and fitting components before welding.
• Set up and operate welding machines and related equipment.
• Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Repair defective welds where necessary.
• Use measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain welding equipment and report faults promptly.
