Job Description
Support refugee resettlement efforts as a Co-Sponsor Coordinator with Focus Humanitarian Assistance in either Toronto or Calgary. Work alongside families from Pakistan to facilitate their settlement.
The Council for Canada is looking for two Regional Co-Sponsor Coordinators, one in Toronto and one in Calgary. This role focuses on assisting Co-Sponsors to fulfill their commitments and ensure that newcomer families from the Private Sponsorship of Refugees pathway receive quality settlement support. The role is planned for 24 months, with assessments to discuss continuation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate assistance for sponsored families arriving in Canada
• Ensure Co-Sponsors comply with legal obligations
• Provide support and guidance to Co-Sponsors
• Assess the impact of settlement programs
• Collaborate with regional community services
