Job Description

The Association of Independent Schools and Colleges in Alberta's mandate is to promote and empower independent schools in Alberta. AISCA serves as the voice of independent schools and Early Childhood Services operators, representing over 200 members and more than 56,000 students.
The Co-Executive Director (Public Affairs & Government Relations) provides senior leadership for AISCA's advocacy, government relations, media engagement, and external stakeholder work. This role operates within a shared leadership model, working in equal partnership with the current Executive Director, who will be responsible for Member Services & Professional Practice. This role reports to the AISCA Board of Directors.
Key Focus Areas
Lead AISCA's government relations, advocacy, and public affairs strategy
Serve as AISCA's primary spokesperson with government, media, and external stakeholders
Build and maintain relationships with MLAs, Ministers, senior officials, and municipal leaders
