CNC Turner Programmer

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge / Skills / Experience) Trade Tested and Qualified Turner Machinist (Red Seal) Minimum 4–8 years post-qualification experience, preferably within the pulley manufacturing industry Toolroom experience will be advantageous CNC programming experience using Mastercam, Edgecam, or Fusion Sound knowledge of: CNC and conventional lathes Milling machines Surface grinders Tools and cutter grinders Knowledge of projection weld tooling and assembly fixtures will be advantageous Key Responsibilities / Job Description Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Select appropriate cutting tools for machining operations using CNC or conventional lathes Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines Mount and dismount workpieces on/from machines Perform roughing and finishing machining operations Machine shafts, drum disc bores, and related components as instructed Machine keyways, drill and tap holes on shafts according to drawings Operate bor...
