CNC Programmer/Operator
A CNC Programmer/Operator combines technical programming skills with hands-on machine operation to create precise components from blueprints. Key responsibilities include creating G-code using CAM software, setting up lathes or mills, optimizing feeds/speeds, and troubleshooting to meet quality standards. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints, utilizing precision tools, and ensuring high-quality production output. Key Responsibilities:-Programming: Develop, test, and optimize CNC machine programs (G-code) using CAD/CAM software to manufacture parts.-Setup: Prepare and set up machines (mills, lathes, etc.) by loading tools, securing fixtures, and setting work offsets.-Operation & Monitoring: Operate machines, monitor production for errors, and adjust settings for optimal speed and tool life.-Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure they meet blueprint specifications.-Maintenance: Perform routine ma...
