Job Description
This position is responsible for developing work holding fixtures, CNC programs, and tool layouts to support the implementation of new equipment in a factory setting. The role focuses on converting products from manual operations to CNC automation using Okuma horizontal mills machines.
Responsibilities
+ Lead the ramp-up of new CNC equipment by creating programs and work holding fixtures.
+ Identify and order new tooling for the creation or improvement of programs as required.
+ Design new jigs, tools, and fixtures, providing technical direction to production personnel.
+ Supervise the validation of new program rollouts and effectively communicate the process with engineers, quality, and production personnel.
+ Collaborate daily with manufacturing engineers to address machining and operational challenges.
