Provide suitable programs, set-up and secure accuracy of CNC programs.

· Support in training new programmers and enhance their programming skills.

· Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings and special instructions. Bridge the coordination from programming, preparation to the production operation and make sure all the concerns will be discussed and agreed.

· Make sure that tool setter and another pre-setter equipment are calibrated and maintained.

· Settle immediate concerns from production relative to tool preparation, tooling and programming.

· Programming and Tooling improvement implementation and make sure to document the program / tooling for tracking purposes.

· Assist the progress of any sample qualification aligned with agreed actions together with the production machinist.
