CNC Programmer

Location: Atherstone

Pay: £20.00 per hour

Hours: 4-day week (39 hours)

Thursday: 15:00 – 00:00

The Best Connection Tamworth is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well-established engineering company in Atherstone. This role is within the manufacturing industry, offering a late shift pattern, competitive pay, and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines (Heidenhain)
  • Working with universal bed‑type milling machines and heads
  • Machining components from stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, and cast iron
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Producing parts to tight tolerances and specifications
  • Completing your own quality inspections
  • Safely using overhead cranes where required
