CNC Operator

The Manual Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders to produce precision parts and components according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. This role requires strong hands-on skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Requirements Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine machining requirements Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other conventional machine tools Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters based on material type and job requirements Measure, inspect, and verify finished parts using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges) to ensure conformance to tolerances Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal working condition Fabricate, repair, or modify p...
