This role focuses on precision CNC machining for aerospace and defense applications, producing high-quality components to exact specifications while following established processes and safety standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate CNC lathes and mills to machine aerospace and defense components to precise tolerances.
+ Set up CNC equipment, including tooling, workholding, and program loading, to support efficient and accurate production.
+ Run both vertical and horizontal CNC machining operations, monitoring machine performance and part quality throughout each job.
+ Interpret and follow work instructions, setup sheets, and machining programs to complete production orders correctly and on time.
+ Inspect parts during and after machining to verify dimensions and quality, making necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy.
