Lodestone Recruitment is currently partnered with a local manufacturer of making parts for the medical sector. Due to an increase in work, they seek skilled CNC Machinists for their Sheffield facility. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a precision engineering environment producing high-quality medical components.
The Role
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machines to manufacture orthopaedic medical components. You’ll work with high-spec materials in a regulated environment where quality and accuracy are critical.
Key responsibilities include:
Setting and operating CNC machines (Milling and/or Turning considered)
Working to tight tolerances and detailed engineering drawings
Conducting in-process inspection using measuring equipment
Ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
