Join our team as a CNC Machinist II, where you will play a vital role in manufacturing precision parts using state-of-the-art equipment. In this role, you will work with CNC machines, focusing on producing high-quality components while maintaining tight tolerances.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate and set up CNC machines, including HAAS Mills and Mori Seiki Lathes.
+ Interpret blueprints and G codes to guide machining processes.
+ Perform daily setups on both lathe and mill machines.
+ Ensure precision and quality by using various measurement tools such as calipers.
+ Engage in machining legacy parts and manage the workflow through multiple phases including machining, deburring, plating, assembly, and drill press CNC.
+ Strive to meet the shop's goal of maintaining a 1% scrap rate.
+ Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient machine shop.
