**CNC Machinist / CNC Setup Operator**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate CNC machinery
+ Run CNC machines throughout the shift while meeting daily production goals.
+ Perform tooling changes, machine adjustments, and multiple setups each shift.
+ Conduct routine quality inspections and document production results.
+ Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and machining specifications.
+ Set feed rates, cutting speeds, and machine parameters to optimize production.
+ Load raw materials and monitor machine performance during operation.
+ Cut, grind, and maintain tooling as needed.
+ Complete production reports and communicate shift status to incoming operators.
+ Troubleshoot basic machining and quality issues to minimize downtime.
+ Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
