What your day will look like

  • Manufacture, grind, regrind, repair and modify cutting tools of all kinds using numerically controlled machines
  • Consult drawings and sketches of cutting tools
  • Prepare tools, dress wheels manually or with the help of a CNC machine, and perform assembly
  • Operate one or more machines simultaneously
  • Inspect cutting tools using gauges and automated inspection machines
  • Participate in the development of new processes
  • Perform mathematical calculations, including using trigonometry
  • Clean, pack, label, and move parts while ensuring they meet standards and specific...
