**Job Title: CNC Machinist**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on operating and setting up CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components in a short-run, high-changeover environment. You will write and edit programs using Mastercam, maintain tight tolerances, perform basic machine maintenance, and contribute to a unionized manufacturing team that builds machinery used to produce ductwork for clients around the world.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate and set up CNC mill and lathe machines to produce high-quality parts.
+ Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam to meet production requirements.
+ Manage an average of 2–5 changeovers per day to support short-run production.
+ Maintain part quality by consistently holding tolerances of +/- 0.005 inches.
+ Perform basic maintenance on CNC machines to ensure reliable and safe operation.
