CNC Machinist

Overall Job Responsibility:

• Perform all machining operations based on setup sheet, CAM programming, job router, Inspection Plan and QMS document in order to deliver quality products.

Responsibilities:

• Perform first piece inspection after tool change for affected dimension.
• Perform adjustment on insert or cutter by offsetting or change new cutter.
• Read and understand applicable document in order to measure the work piece as per expected measuring technique.
• Responsible for keeping the machines and surrounding areas clean and tidy (5S) and working correctly on the shift basis.
• Optimizing production efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings as needed.
• Collaborating with other departments to complete production orders on time.

Scope of Authority:

• Follow work instruction from superior and able to complete the task on time (as per cycle time or target assigned).
