Job Description

A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Engineering department with the appointment of a CNC Engineer.

As CNC Engineer, you will have a proven track record and experience in machining aluminium diecast components on high speed 5 axis machines.

Working from their manufacturing facility, the CNC Engineer will be responsible for:

* Support production on a daily basis.

* Competent in running CNC’s and all aspects of the machine performance, fault finding and diagnostics.

* Maintain hydraulic fixture operation, clamping repeatability and machining position to casting.

* Change tools, track tool life, investigate tool breakages.

* Monitor part quality, adjust offsets and improve process capability.

* Develop and maintain process documentation as well as assist in the generation of SWI’s.

* Set procedures and standards
