Roles and Responsibilities
Take full ownership of our CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) — from programming to daily inspection.
Ensure we achieve repeatable tolerances of ±0.01 mm or better across batches of 100 to 10,000 pieces.
Keep our metrology lab organized, tools calibrated and records spotless for audits.
Work closely with the Process Engineer and CNC Setters to solve quality issues as soon as they appear on the shop floor
Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and final QC certificates for our customers.
Job requirements
At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a metrology lab, specifically with CMM programming and operation.
You understand the difference between good enough and perfect when dealing with microns
Able to explain technical errors clearly in English and Malay (Mandarin is a big bonus for HQ communication).
Experience with metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar) and standard Microsoft Office.
