CMM Programmer (Night Shift)

Summary

: Program and operate (CMM) coordinate measuring machines including Leica with scanning technology, and other portable CMM’s with use of Polyworks software. Approves the start of production through dimensional measurement of sample parts. Essential Functions:

Develops, qualifies, and maintains CMM programs.

Inspects and approves first piece at start of production.

Inspects and approves final inspections prior to delivery.

Reads blueprints to determine specifications and tolerances for a variety of milled, and fabricated weldments.

Ensures that containment activities take place when discrepancies are identified.

Work with Production leads to relay and interpret inspection findings.

Review and refine data collection requirements according to customer drawings, models, work orders, purchase orders, sketches and PPAP requirements.
