The Cloud Security Administrator is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-based systems and data. The role involves implementing and maintaining cloud security controls, monitoring environments for threats, enforcing compliance requirements, and responding to security incidents across enterprise cloud platforms
Cloud Security Management
- Implement and maintain security controls across cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Ensure secure configuration of cloud services including compute, storage, networking, databases, and containers
- Apply security best practices aligned with the cloud shared responsibility model
Monitoring & Incident Response
- Monitor cloud environments using SIEM, CSPM, and native cloud security tools
- Investigate security alerts, suspicious activities, and potential breaches
