We are seeking an experienced AWS OpenSearch Engineer to design, manage, and optimize log and event correlation platforms on AWS. The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performance OpenSearch environments to support observability, monitoring, and security use cases across multiple data sources.
Required Skills
Strong AWS experience: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail
Hands-on experience with AWS OpenSearch / Elasticsearch
Knowledge of index design, ISM/ILM, Query DSL, and aggregations
Experience correlating logs and events using identifiers such as trace_id and session_id
Log ingestion and processing experience (parsing, enrichment, timestamp normalization)
Familiarity with observability and/or SIEM use cases
Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash
Good communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
