Cloud Operations Engineer - Active Directory (Tier-0)

Remote (West Coast US, Onshore Only)

We’re seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer with deep, hands‑on ownership of Active Directory to support business‑critical (Tier‑0) identity infrastructure. This role is Active Directory‑first , with AWS and automation as supporting skills.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and operate enterprise Active Directory environments (Tier‑0 / P0‑P1 critical)
  • Build, patch, validate, and decommission Domain Controllers (on‑prem & cloud)
  • Provide 3rd‑level support for AD and Windows Server during critical incidents
  • Troubleshoot using AD-native tools (ADUC, Event Viewer, repadmin, dcdiag, nltest)
  • Design and maintain AD‑specific monitoring & alerting (auth failures, replication, SYSVOL/NETLOGON)
  • Automate AD tasks safely using Ansible & PowerShell (with pre/post checks & rollback)
