Job Description
Your position involves managing the system platforms, including build and upgrade, query review and tuning, and production support, and related infrastructure and administration services for mission-critical systems in a fast-paced environment for brokerage, banking, and related financial and other business/enterprise applications. You will report to the VP manager of Systems Engineering / Hybrid Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Group and will require strong team interaction with Systems, application and development staff/peers, other engineering, and operations group members within the IT organization, as well as with application and business development teams.
Strong Linux skill set
Strong Linux trouble shooting skills
Practical understanding of networking such as network bonding, routing, subnets, UDP, TCP, IP, & VLANs
Provide support for Linux/Centos Servers and Infrastructure, both on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and on-site
