Job Description

Cloud / Data Migration Engineer - migrating on-prem (Oracle) data to Azure (DBT/Airflow ) for our financial service client

Duration: 12 month contract

Location: Toronto (3 days in office)

Work hours: 7.5 hours/day

Responsible for supporting the migration of on prem data to Snowflake and Azure cloud enterprise platforms.

Experience with the following technologies:

  • Database and Data Engineering: Snowflake, DBT, Airflow/Astronomer, SQL Server, Oracle, Stored Procedures, SSIS. 
  • Containers: Kubernetes, Docker 
  • Cloud Technologies: Azure, AKS 
  • DevOps/Agile: Git, Jenkins, Jira, Nexus. 
  • Expertise in the following languages: SQL, Python

    • Nice to Haves:

  • Web Development: experience with common web development frameworks Streamlit, React, Flask, FastAPI, Django
  • Reporting: Experience with PowerBI is a nice to have
