About The Opportunity
Reporting to the Central Zone Pharmacy Directory, the Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator is a key member of the pharmacy leadership team, promoting evidence‑based, patient‑centered, safe, and cost‑effective use of antimicrobials. The Clinical Coordinator will have an advanced practice role as the AMS Pharmacist Lead working in partnership with the AMS Physician Lead to coordinate the Nova Scotia Health AMS Program, making recommendations on developing, prioritizing, implementing, and evaluating AMS initiatives. This role requires proficiency with project planning, quality improvement methods, clinical research, and strong communication and interpersonal skills working in collaboration with clinical teams to facilitate group learning and effective AMS knowledge translation.
