Unit Summary

The Geriatrics and Rehabilitation /Seniors Health Program is comprised of adult inpatient and ambulatory care rehabilitation services including geriatric rehabilitation, provides adult inpatient and ambulatory rehabilitation services to patients following stroke, spinal cord injury, amputee, acquired brain injury, neurological impairment, neurobehavioural, musculoskeletal, oncology rehabilitation, and restorative care, as well as prosthetic and orthotic services for adult and pediatric patients. In addition, the program supports the Regional Geriatric Program Central and Specialized Geriatric Services Central Clinical Intake for the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Burlington Brant region. amputation, orthopedic surgery and for patients who are debilitated following medical or surgical intervention.
