Clinical Instructor (N4) - Medicine

Position Overview

Under the direction of the Manager of Education Services and in collaboration with the Program Director and Managers the Education Instructor will demonstrate a commitment to the Mission, Vision and Key beliefs of the Victoria General Hospital. The Education Instructor is a program based professional responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of care through clinical practice, consultation, education, research and community service; participating in the planning, implementation and evaluation of new clinical and educational programs in the area of clinical expertise; and performing other duties as required. The Education Instructor will provide facility wide continuous quality improvement through leadership and example.

Experience

• Five years current relevant clinical nursing experience required.
• Two years' teaching experience in health education and/or adult education required.
