Make a difference as an Integrated Child & Youth Clinical Counsellor in Maple Ridge with the Pitt Meadows School District. Your focus will be on therapeutic support and youth advocacy in educational settings.
You will manage individual cases, providing necessary counselling interventions for children and their families. This role also involves leadership responsibilities, including overseeing Youth Peer Support Workers and advocating for community resources. Through workshops and collaborative efforts with multidisciplinary teams, your aim will be to foster mental health resilience among youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver child and youth therapeutic counselling
• Oversee recruitment and performance of peer support workers
• Support Youth Peer Support initiatives within schools
• Attend and participate in school and community agency meetings
• Liaise with external agencies for comprehensive support
