Climate Manager

Overview

As Climate Manager, you will strengthen Lahti’s position as a leading environmental city and develop climate work in collaboration with companies, research organizations, and residents. You will lead the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of the climate program, ensuring that climate change mitigation and adaptation are integrated into city decision‑making, financial planning, and vitality enhancement. Your tasks include leading, preparing, and developing the city’s climate work, ensuring strategic considerations are included in decision‑making, updating and reporting on the climate program and budget, building strategic partnerships, promoting low‑carbon solutions, and actively participating in national and international networks. You will also lead the climate team and serve as its supervisor.
