Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Financial Clerk will provide support to the Infrastructure Department and will be responsible for processing a high volume of complex financial transactions.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • processing payment of Project Lead invoices for Integrated Infrastructure Services and ensure payment is made in accordance with prompt payment legislation
  • receiving, reviewing and coding invoices in Markview from Project Lead
  • preparing purchase requisitions in eBiz for Integrated Infrastructure Services, Infrastructure Supports and Operations, Planning and Property Management
  • processing holdback release payments
  • processing operational credit card expenses
  • assisting the accountants with the preparation of journal entries
