Responsibilities

To clean specified areas within the school in accordance with the school’s/authority’s standards. Work is undertaken under the guidance of the caretaker / cleaning supervisor. Contribute to the school’s statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

Responsibility for Others – Impact on well‑being of individuals or groups.

Responsibility for Staff – May demonstrate tasks or advise new employees, trainees.

Responsibility for Finance – Occasional small cash handling.

Responsibility for Physical Resources – Direct responsibility for cleaning of buildings.
