Classroom Aide- Opportunity Program - Workforce Development (Pooled Position)

Job Summary

The Center for Workforce Development classroom aide is assigned to assist Instructors and Students in an Opportunity Programs for Adults with Intellectual or Developmental Disability (IDD). Aides will be assigned to programs based on previous education or life experience applicable to the Opportunity Program’s curriculum and skills content, as well as cohort size and need. Current programs include the Culinary Opportunity Program I and II and the Horticulture Opportunity Program. Qualifications - Education Related experience and certification in associated area, if applicable. For example, Classroom Aides for the Culinary program will need prior culinary experience and Serv-Safe Food Handler certification.
