Class 3 Driver

The Class 3 Driver will be responsible for:

• Performing a daily pre-trip truck and equipment inspection, including an electronic pre-trip inspection
• Following written and verbal instructions from the Yard Manager or Shipping Supervisor for deliveries and pickups
• Loading and unloading lumber, roof trusses, pallets and other related building materials with a truck-mounted forklift
• Ensuring that every load is secured appropriately, according to all safety and legal requirements.
• Counting items on every load to ensure the counts match the attached paperwork.
• Assisting the warehouse/yard team with staging loads in assigned areas.
• Tagging products with relevant information (i.e., Sales Order #, Purchase Order #, Customer Reference(s), etc.)
• Completing all required paperwork and returning the same to the Yard Manager or Shipping Supervisor after each run
