Job Description
Responsibilities
- Perform daily delivery and collection of goods according to assigned routes, schedules and customer requirements.
- Ensure goods are properly loaded, secured, transported and unloaded safely to prevent damage, loss or delay.
- Verify delivery orders, invoices, collection notes and other transport documents, and ensure proper acknowledgement upon delivery or collection.
- Assist with loading and unloading of cargo, including manual handling of goods where required.
- Conduct basic vehicle checks before use and report any vehicle defects, accidents, cargo damage, discrepancies or operational issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic regulations, workplace safety requirements, customer site rules and Company transport procedures.
- Maintain proper delivery records, proof of delivery and related documentation accurately and on time.
