Class 2S Driver Training Instructor

Overview

Class 2S Driver Training Instructor – SOUTHLAND is currently seeking experienced driver trainers to join our team. The Training Instructor is responsible for the effective training of new employees and the continued education of current drivers. In-house training is provided as per the programs, policies and guidelines of SOUTHLAND’s Training Department. This position requires an ability to communicate well with tact and diplomacy in confidential matters. Training takes place Monday through Friday.

Knowledge And Skills Required

• Class 1 or 2 driver's license, “S” Endorsed held for a minimum three (3) years
• Knowledge of Highway Traffic Act and Emergency Procedures
• Class 2S certified and able to pass the trainer certification with the Ministry of Transportation
• Clean 10-year commercial drivers abstract
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality
